No power to the cluster(solved)

I just picked up a 1991 Z28. None of the dash works. i swapped clusters with my 92 and they both dont work in the 91 but do work in the 92. so i know my cluster is good.

can somebody suggest a good place to start looking for the issue? I havent dug into it yet, im about to go snoop around under the dash. the radio works, havent tried headlights or turn signals yet.

I'll report back when i get done tinkering.

edit: first thing i checked was the fuse..... blown... replaced and now it works, that was easy
