What all is powered by the bottom fuse box circuit breaker??
Ok, so I have been searching and searching, and I cant seem to find this information.
What all is powered by the bottom metal circuit breaker in the fuse box?
A few weeks ago, it was raining and I went to lock my doors with the electric locks, and they didnt lock, but I heard clicking (i think from the relay) when I pressed the button. This may be completly unrelated to my problem but I just thought I should mention it...
then, My battery was dead one morning...really really oddd... SO I jumped it and got it started, and then looked through the use box...As I was feeling it I burned my hand on the bottom metal circuit breaker....yes it was that hot. I know these things get hot, but not that hot...SO I took it out and now my battery doesn't die, so that was the problem.
I need to know what all that powers so I can look for the short.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

I know from looking in my owners manual, that circuit breaker (POWER ACC) is for at least the power door locks and the rear window defogger. It is 35 amp and does get warm with the defogger in operation. You made me have to go out and look at mine, and I found out it's only a 30 amp breaker, maybe that's why my defogger turns off after what seems only a minute.
Re: What all is powered by the bottom fuse box circuit breaker??
Ah well I haven't used my door locks since they cut out that day (haven't got around to fixing them) and I dont think Ive ever used the rear window defogger...
Id be willing to put my money on the door locks then...My weather stripping is practically non-exisant, so the rain was worrying me when using the locks, since they were practically outside.
I really hope I didnt ruin the actuator though

So Ive been looking around and I cant seem to find the issue..
Assuming the short is within the power lock system...what could cause the power lock buttons to click the relay when I press them but not fire the actual locks on either door?
[EDIT]
Sorry for the double post!

If it’s still getting too hot to touch you need to fix that first.
Using an ammeter in line with the breaker, one at a time disconnect the 3 items the breaker powers till the excessive draw goes away.
Then with that problem fixed, use a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to probe pin 5 of the relay orange/black wire.
Is there power there?
