Re: not to big on electrical.. fan problem
Pass side head, between #6 & #8 spark plug, there is a sensor looking thing - it's the fan switch - probably a bad one. To test, remove connector (squeeze it at the ridges to remove) and stick a wire into it and ground that wire anywhere metal on the car with the key turned to ON - if the fan runs, the switch is bad. Cover face when replace, will get a face full of coolant there.
If fan still doesn't run, then bad relay - it's on firewall driver side between brake booster and fender - there's a square holder mounted to firewall with two 10mm bolts - 2 relays inside that 'holder' - one is fuel pump, other is fan. The fan relay has a large black with red stripe wire to it. Usually the fuel pump relay is the same as the fan relay, if both are oval shaped, then mark the fuel puimp relay (the good one) and switch them - then ground that fan switch wire discussed above and see if the fan runs. If it doers, get new relay.
If all that fails, apply 12v directly from battery to the fan wire at the connector (with a ground of course) and see if the fan runs - if it does go back to above and retry, if it doesn't, replace fan motor.

Another easy way to test is by moving the top slider on the HVAC control over to AC. If the fan goes on then the fan and relay are OK and replacing the switch that Newbie referred to should do it
