For some reason my fuel gauge doesn't wanna read the fuel correctly. I replaced it with a brand new fuel sending unit, and it does the same thing - the needle just travels to a random spot and stays there, then it'll travel to another spot and rest there. I can never get an accurate fuel reading.
So, it was replaced again, this time testing the float on one end while watching the fuel needle on the dash move up and down accordingly. But once installed, it went back to giving random readings. So I'm pretty sure I've gone through two GOOD sending units, but something else is screwed up in there. Mind you, it's totally random, there's no pattern to how it will read, or for how long. But, it DID work when it was tested on the rack.
Any ideas? I'm starting to turn green.
