Annoying no-start problem. (very specific)
If I run the car and then turn it off, then turn key on for radio or something (never with heat/ac on) and then try to start from key on, the car hasn't started in the past. Just cranks. This has happened to me a few times. I usually have to turn the key back, wait a few seconds and then try again. Always works with the key from the off position though. I doubt it's the battery because it cranks nice and fast as well as my gauge showing at least 12v, haven't actually checked with my meter. Anyone else have this happen? It's a pretty big nuisance especially when someone else is in the car just looking at you with that "seriously?" look...

To run radio and accessories, you should be turning the key backwards from run to off to acc anyway. 1990 car key switch is ACC-OFF-RUN-START.
The reason is that the fuel pump primes when key turned to RUN, but if you then sit there for 10 minutes, that fuel drains back to tank, evaporates, whatever, and you need to reprime the injectors to be able to start it again. Injectors don't 'hold fuel' like a carb does.
