hey i just got my first Camaro a few weeks ago its a 86 z28 and at idle (800) the tach is showing 2,500 ive gone thrue all the wiring and its fine. From what i have read its the bord being bad but i cant find any good fixes for it. So any help would be great.

i dont think this matters but i swapped a 96 Vortec 350 in it that has the tach wire coming out of the comp and i was told the car came with a v8 not a v6 so that shouldent be the problem

If no one knows of a good fix is there any place i can send it to get fixed?
