Led guage cluster swap

I swapped my guage bulbs for LED's and they look great and was a cheap upgrade. But, now I noticed that the turnsignals flash randomly while driving. It flashes really quick and only once at a time, but I wonder is there something I missed. Do I need to swap my flasher unit for an LED compatable one?

Return the turn signal and highbeam bulbs back to non-led? Those don't really have to be LED. Also maybe the dummy lights back to non-led? That would keep all the troubles away and have only your lighting look brighter and better with LED.

Re: Led guage cluster swap

There shouldn't be a problem with an LED swap in the gauge cluster. I've done the same thing, and the only issue I have is with the high beam indicator being a bit too bright.
