Would like to get third tail light to work
I have a 89 RS,My rear third tail light won't work. I have change all bulbs, and looked at the wiring that they connect to, everything looks good. I just don't know what to do
to fix them. Any suggestions? I sure would like it to work!

Is this the spoiler mounted light? If so, are the contacts in the lid making good contact with the piece on the trunk top?

With the brake applied, is there 12V across the two contacts which mate to the pins on the hatch lid? If so, then your problem is in the hatch. If not, then the problem is in the wiring forward - yellow wire to the brake pedal switch.
