Heater fuse keeps popping and no dash lights

Im having a very hard time trying to fix my problem if anyone knows whats wrong please help. I have a 1991 Firebird and all of a sudden last week my dash lights went out and no longer work theres no blown fuse for it and i just replaced the switch 7 months ago. Also a day or so later my heater stopped blowing and the fuse for it keeps popping the acc 25 amp fuse. replaced the heater blower thinking that was causing the problem but wasent the fuse keeps blowing over and over and over and i still have no dash lights either. cant figure out what the problem is if any one has a remedy please help and if anyone has any diagrams for tracing wires for this fuse that keeps blowing or the dash light wiring please email them to me or post them in this thread thankyou very much

Re: Heater fuse keeps popping and no dash lights

You 2 problems aren't likely related. Diagram for your car attached. Check that none of the wires between the heater switch, blower motor resistor, blower relay, blower motor and fuse link are shorted to ground.

Also note that the diagram shows the circuit for an A/C car, but also has an inset for a non-A/C car. Follow the wires accordingly.
