MSD ignition box??

is it worth it to spend 200$ on this thing? i hear you get a slight hp bump as well as fuel economy, is this true and i found on summitracing.com a similar product made by summit,is this comparable of should i just go for the msd box? ...i will be applying it to a stock 305 tpi setup any input on the matter is greatly appreciated

This depends what you set up is. If you have a stock 305 TPI it won't make a that much of a difference. I bought the 6A years ago and i never noticed a difference.

Re: MSD ignition box??

The only thing the ignition boxes do is supply multiple sparks per ignition cycl;e rather than just one spark. Might help burn fuel a little better, thus adding a tad of hp - but nothing you'll ever feel. Mileage won't be any better, and your car is still going to spary the same amount of fuiel, whether it ignites better from multiple sparks or is left somewhat unburnt by regular single spark, fuel usage is still the same.
