No Radio Power

Have a strange problem.Recently had my dash and interior replaced in my 89 Iroc vert. After putting back the center console I noticed my console clock wasnt working. The 2 backlights would light up when headlight switch was pulled.Since I have this spliced into the radio wiring I went to plug in the radio and with key in all positions it didnt turn on.I only got backlight illumination with headlight switch. Both parts worked before removal.I checked the radio fuse and it was good.....One thing to note,I had to extend the console clock connector plug as it was kinda tight.I wanted to have a bit of slack so I cut the pigtail off to put a longer one on.When I cut the wiring it sparked as the battery was still connected. This means that there was power...correct?But now nothing.Any help would be appreciated

Does your radio have an inline fuse?

Re: No Radio Power

Check all of the fuses in the interior fuse panel.
