I have an 84' Z28. Where would I look to find the dash grounds? Both on the block and behing the dash.

Re: Dash Ground location?

In the engine bay, you have 3 main grounds

1) Battery neg cable to engine block
2) groundstrap from pass side rear head to firewall
3) small neg battery wire to fender

In the schematics, doesn't really show any single ground for the dash. The entire metal of the car is grounded from the engine bay (except a few metal parts that are isolated with plastic). So, all these dash parts - most of them have their own little grounds. I asume the actual cluster has a ground in the ribbon cable connector.

Is there a particular part of your dash (ie gauges, or lights, or cig lighter, or clock, etc) that is not working, or is it the entire dash?
