Anyone know if the chime module fitted to the Firebird is the same as used on other GM cars. I know the Camaro one is different from the Firebird from reading through previous posts. I tracked down one which has the same 7 pins on it as my old one that plugs into the convenience center. but has a different part number than the one I have. There are so many different types of these out there, black ones, blue ones, red ones. All with different part numbers. Afraid if I plug a different one in and if it is wired differently it will get damaged. One would think they should be all the same but you never know with GM.
