Fuel pump wiring help
Well trying to finish up my motor swap and all that's left is to get the fuel pump to come on. Someone cut the wires to the fuel pump under the car above the rear diff. here's a pic.I need some help on how to rewire the pump. Can i just hook a hot-n-run wire to the gray wire going to the pump and ground the black wire out? Not sure what the purple wire is for. A little advice would be greatly appreciated. Also the wires that run under the carpet behind the back seat do they go to the fuel pump as well? Here is a pic

Re: Fuel pump wiring help
Fuel pump positive is the grey wire. Black is a ground. Purple is for the fuel guage sender.
Might as well just reconnect the three back to their counterparts so that the fuel pump relay is working properly, and the fuel guage is working properly.
Are you carbing this motor?
