cs144 electrical plug
I just converted to a CS144 140 amp alternator and I noticed that everyone had to order an electrical connector adaptor to plug there harness into the alternator. My plug fit perfectly so I plugged it in. Is this the case with some of the CS144 or do I have a problem. My car is a 92 Z28 vert with a 305 auto TPI. The gauge reads just over 13 volts or about 14.2 like it is supposed to and none of the wires feel hot. I have a 4 gauge audio wire running from the CS144 to the battery. My fear is some off the wires are in the wrong place and may let it overcharge or something else that will leave me stranded. Anyone with experience with this conversion please let me know especially what color wire does what and which space it should be in.
