headlights, dash lights, and hatch not working

my headlights, dash lights, and hatch will not work anymore. i replaced headlight switch and still no go. dome lights also dosent work. i could see how headlights, dash lights, and dome do not work as they all are controlled by the headlight switch but the power hatch not closing is weird to me. any help would be greatly appreciated. what would all those things have in common that would cause them all to stop working. thanks it a 91 camaro rs 305tbi/5spd t-top

Check all your fuses first off then check each component for power and ground

Re: headlights, dash lights, and hatch not working

Checked all fuses under dash. Going to go through wiring next weekend. Basically I'm wondering if there's a power or ground that goes to all things not working. I doubt there all different since they all went out at same time. Thanks for any input or help so far

check your fusable links. one time, my air cleaner shorted out my coil & i lost ALL electronics, even radio, it ended up being 2 or 3 fusable links that go on the stud thats on the starter

Re: headlights, dash lights, and hatch not working

i repaired them by just straight wiring it, basically, i cut the wires where the fusable links were than spliced in a new wire and at the end of that i added the correct size "O" shaped connector to fit in the stud, than wrapped alll the wires in electrical tape & attached them to the starter & boom, fixed.
