For a broke kid, this is an electrical nightmare

How's it goin guys got a little problem with this. First my stop lights went out and then every time I popped in a new fuse, the fuse blew when I applied the brakes. I was told by someone to disconnect the defroster grid and that worked perfectly....for about 2 days. Now the problems back and I'm at a loss for ideas. Anything?

Sounds like it's time to start tracing down wiring. From your description you can keep on throwing fuses at it relentlessly, but you have a short somewhere that needs to be found. The back of the Haynes or Chilton Manuals have wiring diagrams which might help with tracing it down. With the brake pedal issue maybe it's the brake switch or something is grounding out your brake bulb wiring.
