In need of a electronic guru

I’m looking to use a momentary switch as an on off switch. Push it once its turns something on. Push it again turns it off. I only want to use one and don’t want to use a push on push off. If anyone knows anything I would appreciate it.

A circuit diagram would be awesome.

I do have a general knowledge of electronics. If that help cut down explanations and what not.

Thanks

Clever little circuit! Just handles the relay latching tho - needs a second pole, to control whatever you're switching.

also i noticed that its noted for 24v. it should be fine with 12v just different component ratings. right?
