Power Window Issue
Ok I got a weird one here. Driver side window is being random. Sometimes I can roll it down and up no problem but other times its just being flakey. I thought it was the actual switch so I removed the switch, dissassembled it to find that the brass sliders and the contacts were heavilly corroded. I went ahead and cleaned them with 600 grit sandpaper and now they are nice and clean and the switch is working fine.
The windows were working fine for 2 days after this cleaning until today when I went to roll the window up and the bloody thing wouldn't work. I tore the console apart and tried the passenger side switch on the driver side which didn't work. I then tried the drive side switch on the passenger side and it worked fine.
SO!!! I don't think its the switch..it has to be something else in the wiring. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the windows that I can use to reference? Is their a relay in this circuit...thinking that could be the problem. Any advice at this point would be greatly apreciated.

Re: Power Window Issue
Probably bad motors or dirty tracks - search "bogus" to find window motor replacement thread (the easy way).

Re: Power Window Issue
i had bad motors(from doing homework on the site)..and just literally got done doing both..didnt want one replaced without the other on my 91 z....glad I bought 2..cuz the pass side new one was faster than old dr.side..so i did both..bought from rockauto,ac delco parts..cheap,like 50 for 2...did the "bogus" way..but since my z is mint,i did a mint job...get yourself new motors, follow steps, and do it right..if you were close,i'd do it..
