Re: wiring the power windows
If you just need power, I'd use the single slot marked IGN in the fuseblock. It accepts any standard 1/4in spade terminal, and provides 12v+ when key is ON. I'd also use an inline fuse between that and the window circuit, I think windows use 30 amp fuses maybe?
The slot I'm referring to will have a small arrow pointing to it, and will have IGN. It looks like a fuse slot, except it's only a single slot, where a fuse needs two slots. There should be 2 of them.
FYI - There are also other slots, marked BAT (12v+ all the time), RADIO (12v+ when key is ON or in ACC position), and LPS (12v+ only when lights are on).

If the window/lock harness you bought has the plug intact it should plug right into the matching one under the driver's side dash somewhere. It's probably tucked up out of the way. You'll need to add the right size fuse in the slots that should be ready marked. Do you have a manual with circuit diagrams? They'll show the right fuse holders.

Well first try to get a manual. Chilton not Haynes. Yes the plug should be there. You may need to add fuses. 20amp in the ACC slot, 30amp in the WDO slot and 30amp in the PWR ACC slot. I had to cut a little plastic tab out of the fuse block for one of them. At least this was true for my '91 F'bird. Yours should be about the same. I couldn't tell from my Camaro Haynes manual. That's why I suggested the Chilton one.
