Re: Need help!!

A guy had to replace the horn ring inside a 90 steering column. The yellow wire to the air bag must not have been seated all the way as it worked it's way back out and triggered the "Infl Rest" (Inflatable Restraint) codes. Have you recently taken apart your steering column? Isthe light still on? Haven't seen you in a while. How are you?

Re: Need help!!

Also you can check for loose ground wires. There are 2 of them on the driver side
frame by the engine. Sometimes if they are loose or coroded the
INFL REST will come on.

Re: Need help!!

Ok here is one more idea, guy wrote in another post.
I have a 91 Z28 and it had the 'infl rest' light that stayed on, but it was only a missing 10a fuse for 'SIR'. I put in a 10a fuse and it now blinks and goes off as it should. Just a reminder to try checking the fuse first.
