Trying to return my poor camaro back to stock and I want toget another 3pcspoiler with a third light in it, my oldhatch got shattered and replaced with a 91, how is it wire to get power?? My current hatch doesnt have a little arm to touch the contact plate on my rear panel ive been told thats where the power comes from is that right or is that for the pull down motor? My motor has never worked it got the bolt in the track from the PO

Help would be appreciated on this subject, I wanna see my car like it was when I bought it

That piece is bolted to the underside of the hatch, but you'll require the plastic trim piece to go with it. Also, you'll need to put a hole in your deck lid to pass the wire through. You can come over and check mine anytime.

 

Yeah I used to have one, I used my old.trim panel so I know where its gotta go lukes offering me an 85 hatch but if I could find an 89 id like to, how much do you think the yards around here charge for a hatch?

 

Yes it is the contact plate, but the rear motor has a plug in that makes the third light work. I have a working motor, but my contact plate was missing. I got one and installed it, then plugged in the small plug to contact plate and it worked great.

cant you pull the metal piece off the rear glass? if so i have one from an 89 that has the spoiler still on it. small crack easy fix tho lmk and i have a pull down motor, i need to bench test it first but i think it was working as it wasn't screwed in place lmk
