There has to be a short or something..

Alright everyone, I have a 1987 Trans am I had bought the car and everything worked all lights and such, then I had it sitting on private property for sale and some old lady backed into it, but where she backed into it she hit the passengers fender right on the marker lamp and it broke and I am assuming it shorted out? Because while the car was damaged, when the car was running my battery would drain and not charge.

This it was covered by MPI and they did $3100 in bodywork to the car, put a brand new front nose cone and new fender. But after it was fixed, my alternator was working again and the car does charge now. But..

The car sat some more, now as I need to drive the car for work I decided to use it again except nothing electrical seems to be working.

The horn now does not work, The stereo now does not work, The rear hatch release, I turn my lights on, the headlights will come on, but my dashlights wont. Etc.

I have checked the fusebox under the driverside dash, every fuse was good.

But now here may be the tricky part, the guy who had the car before me, I guess wired the car or had it wired differently. Everything seemed to be wired to the ignition..

For exampe, Normally a horn would work at ANY time when pressed. With my car, the horn would only work if I had the key on/car running.

So, does anyone know what my issue could be? I desperately need this car for work.
