Window switch wiring missing??
Can anyone please help me figure this out?
I'm trying to get this car put together with everything working, and in the process I found that the wires that go to the window switches in the center console are cut. That is, they are connected to the switches themselves, but then they lead into where the stereo is supposed to go and they are cut there.(has no stereo installed) I can't find the other end of the wires that were cut.
Please help....Need to know where they would be located...

The wires for the power windows are supposed to go under the driver's seat, along the side of the floor, up to the harness behind the dash.

You're right! Thanks for the help by the way. I looked for the wires that you're talking about and yeah they are there. They're connected to the wiring that i mentioned was cut. So I'm guessing that they spliced in that other wiring that is cut to maybe power a stereo. But still...my windows don't work...

Those wires aren't supposed to go anywhere near the radio... They run under the seat, down the side of the car, to the harness affixed to the cowl behind the dash, where they run side to side into the doors. Check the fuse panel for 2 silver boxes. One is for the other power accessories, and the other is for the power windows. If the window breaker isn't installed, they won't work. Other than that, there is a junction block behind the driver's side kick panel, looks like a long plastic block with orange wires coming out on one side and pink on the other. The windows should be attached to the pink side.

Re: Window switch wiring missing??
problem solved! Based on the info, i decided to remove the wiring that i was talking about that im positive was added in. I then connected the remaining wires(color coded) and the windows worked. Thanks a lot!
