Can someone I.D. these wires?
To start off my dash and display lights dont work, when i replace the fuse as soon as i pull out the light lever it blows the fuse. So i started to try to check all the lights and wires for a short and got confused pretty quick. I started at the center console because the p.o. put a b&m shifter in and i noticed the shift light wasnt there. So this is where i need help if anyone can identify these wires.
This was the first thing i noticed, im pretty sure the wires for the windows run through it, but im clueless as to what it is.

what ever this is it isnt plugged in to anything and one of the black wires coming out the back is unhooked

this wire comes from the window and hatch switches and goes to nothing

this wire comes from under the front of the console and was exposed so i taped it up

There was also a white and a yellow wire coming from about the same place as the green one that dont go anywhere but i couldnt get a pic.
I also noticed while trying to see the wires to the cd player on the driver side i saw a thick red wire not going to anything, i believe it should be the hot or the constent for the radio but the radio comes on and goes off with the key like it should so idk. Anyways after pulling my cluster off and checking the bulbs i still have no lights so any more help on that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Second picture down is socket for gear indicator light- will take buld #194
Third picture there are two blue wires that run in a main harness that goes under the drivers seat and one goes to pin c of left window and one to pin c of right window. These two are dark blue on my 91 camaro, yours apears light blue. remove window switches and check that both have a wire in pin c.
Fourth picture there are a few green wires in that area, the ones on top of carpet (radio) are for HVAC. There is one that goes under the carpet that should go to pin COM of the top seloniod on drivers side on BM shifter. There are two thick wires in the same harness as the green. Both should go to the shifter. I will have to sheck pinouts to tell you where they and the yellow wire go.

Well i just put yet another 5amp fuse in for the gauge lights, i set the dimmer switch all the way to the right (off) and pulled out the ****. I tjen slowly turning the dimmer switch, at about a quarter way the fuse hadnt blown yet but the dimmer switch its self started to smoke! Could this be where my issue is?
