weird guy electrical question

so i am not a fuel injection guy or even an ECM guy.. i bought a 82 camaro with the 305 4bbl.. it still has the ecm with the solenoid in the carb. i want all that gone.
i have had many 2nd gen cars, no computer, no ecm no nothing.. i guess i am old aschool..

so does anyone have a diagram for one of the older "no electronics" cars..
plans for this one. bbc 600hpish. narrowed rear just slightly. suspension upgrades, automatic tranny prefer with 4th gear. street driver and track rider.. it will have a cage and race interior but with some street comforts.

i am thinking i need wires for the ignition, distributor, msd 6A box, electrical fuel pump (Holley carb) electric water pump, lights / signals/ horn// windshield wipers/ gages door window motors and a radio thats about it. Oh yeah.. alternator and starter.

anyone have any input or diagrams.. ?
thanks in advance by the way you guys have some nice rides on here..
Mine is going to take a while.

Re: weird guy electrical question

check out the carb swap threads. thats essentially what youll be doing. youll need the non CC carb, new intake (or adapter) since youre moving from spread bore to square bore, and an hei dizzy.
everything else you wanna swap isnt necessary for it to run. the wiring on the passanger side of the engine bay is all the engine wiring, everything on the driver side doesnt need to be touched. if you have an auto then you have either rig a way to lock up the torque converter, or get a kit tht does it for you.
