SHIFTING IS BONKERS
Ok so I replaced the stock shifter with a B&M ratchet shifter. I love this shifter as I have used it many times in many camaros. But here lies the problem. Its an automatic and will only shift at around 4000 RPM's. So if im just going for a nice cruise I have to get on this z28's *** just to make it shift into the next gear. Now thats not a bad thing, I love horsepower and standing on this peddle but it sucks when there are cops around and I have to do this just to get it to shift. Any advice?

That's my guess also. TV Cable controls line pressure. Was it shifting like that prior to shifter swap?
TV Cable only has 1 correct adjustment and you want to make sure it is correct else you can burn clutch bands.

It was shifting fine before the swap. Funny thing is, I have no idea what I am looking for and once found, I dont know how to adjust it correctly.

Article is kinda complicated as the adjustment is far easier after you've done it once. It's the big black cable on the side of the throttle body. There is a button on the side of it to release the tension on the cable, you push the adjustment part sticking out back, and then crank the throttle to wide open. The cable should click and adjust properly. The idea is to have proper line pressure at WOT.
Is it shifting like that in all gears?
