L98 Tachometer in a LB9 car?

I am interested in a gauge cluster for sale to replace my faded faces and busted water temp gauge but I have a few questions.

Will the tach read correctly if I swap an L98 tach into my LB9 car? The yellow and redlines are in the exact same spot if it matters.

Can I physically "unplug" the tach and water temp gauges from the gauge cluster to swap them and "plug in" the new ones or does the whole gauge cluster have to come out to change individual gauges?

Thank you.
