86 transam lg4 wiring harness removal
I have an 86 trans am with acarbed 350 in it. the previous owner removed the stock lg4 305 w/at and replaced it with a 350 5speed. the problem i am having is the car works fines but i want to remove all the useless wiring under then hood (its a nightmare) my plans are to remove all the useless wiring that i dont need and remove the ecm thats in it. i want to put HSR injection kit on it but dont want to mess with that untill this wiring is fix. Right now everything works. I pretty much want to remove the wiring harness out of the engine but keep everything else such as heater, fan, lights and gauges. I would like to know if its possible to removed all those wires from the harness without effecting a whole lot.
right now i know thats with the computer disconnected the speedo and reverse lights dont work. but other then that i am clusless. i dont really do wiring. its one of those things iver been really bad at. if anyone could help me out to atleast get in thr right direction that would be great thanks
