Hi All,
I just recently replaced my aging power window switches on my 83 Z.
Passenger side works great.Driver side works when it wants to.Could a
faulty window motor be causing the prob,or a wiring issue?

 

you'll have to do some testing for power - check before the switch and the motor. if you've got solid power at the motor, sounds like you may have a bad motor. also, try swapping the switches and see if the problem follows the switch or stays at the driver window. also check your grounds, they can get rusty or loosen up over the years
