I have an 84 z28 and the **** that you pull out to put on your headlights well it pulls out fine but the bracket the holds it in place broke so now theres nothing holding it and its hanging freely inside the dash.
I posted a picture to hopefully show all of you what the issue is.
I really would like to see if any of you fixed the problem without buying a new piece. thanks for the input

 

Buy a new one.... they are $7.00.
