Another 92 Z28 no start issue....(But I did research it)..LOL

Ok, so I have searched and searched and searched and everything related to my issue seems to be the V.A.T.S. module so here's the gig just for clarification,

Fuel pump pressurzes, everything seems hunky dory until you turn to the start position and then a whole lotta nuttin.....no crank, no nuthin. Therefore, I ordered the VATS bypass module from Painless and "if" I installed it correctly it made no difference.

I get no security lights, the little light to the right of the check engine light flashes a few time but that's about it. The check enging light is on and that's about it.

I have verified fuel pressure at the rails, installed a new battery, installed the VATS bypass and so on and still get nothing.

Now the kicker, if I start it with Ether after jumping across the start with a button it will sorta run if I pump the accelerator like crazy but as soon as I stop it dies.

I apologize if I am asking the same questions as everyone else but I feel I have spent a great deal of time searching the forums so I figured I would just ask.

Thank you

I had a similar issue. I found that the starter enable relay, which is located behind the kick panel on the driver's side, wasn't working. I could turn the key and nothing, but if I held the key to start and tap the relay the car would turn over. I ended up bypassing it for the moment.

I can't find my starter relay......I looked behind the kick panel, by the starter to see if there might have been something there but I can find no trace of it......
