Hey guys,
Ive got a 88 gta notchback with a digital dash....and im having the worst issue. My speedo and odometer arent working. being that they are both digital i figure it would be a little different set up than the analog dash. My speedo is sitting at 0 Kmh and wont go anywhere. id like to get it back to MPH if i could....
If anyone has some expierience with this dash setup please help me out. it'd be appreciated.

It may be defective modules in the dash itself. Did this dash work before? I had a similar issue and had to replace my digital dash. All buttons/functions work now.

 

yes it did work. i forgot to mention the cause that i believe. i had to place the fuel pump on a "on/off" switch due to it running while the car was turned off intermittintly. and the fuel pump just went out one day while i was driving. had to relocate the wire in the fuse panel. after i replaced the under dash panel the door buzzer started working where it hadent worked previously. i lost my ODO completely (its blank), and the speedo only shows 0 KM/H. all other dash functions work, but i also lost my power mirrors and locks, dome light, and the horn doesnt work.

 

Almost sounds like you popped a fuse while you were working on stuff.

Check your fuses.

 

yea thats what i figure. im gonna check them tomorrow. ive just been ignoring it. tried to replace the sponge that im caling a trans mount yesterday and after repeated soaking with PB i still snapped the crossmember bolt. so thats the first priority obviously. after that im gonna check the fuses and see. thanks guys!
