heater/ac fan not working

I have read all the post regarding the bad connectors-the brown one under dash and the red one under the hood and checked all of mine are good.I am getting power to the red wire at the relay.I have replaced the blower switch, relay and and blower motor itself. If I hook hot directly to fan with stock ground the fan works.I have checked/replaced fuse under dash and also verified the resistor thing works but the fan doesn't work on high or any speed anyway.I am at a lost on what to try next other then taking out dash to search for 1 a broken wire. Can someone lead me to what wire and where I should start or anything else I can try, thanks

you need to search down where your loosing power. start from the fuse block to the switch to the blower speed motor resister. I would suspect the switch or power going too it.

i got it-and it was the famous brown wire/connection behind the control panel. It looked fine,no burning, melting but that was it.So for future reference the connectors should be replaced even if they look fine.

Re: heater/ac fan not working

yes you are right.could have saved a lot of time just by just fixing those first.I kept reading that the bad ones looked burnt or corroded, mine were not, just a tension thing.o-well lesson learned.
