My fog light switch doesnt toggle on and off anymore, the switch just flops around. But if you play with the switch, the lights do come on. Then after a few minutes the switch starts smelling like burned wires and it smells up the whole interior.

I tried prying the switch from the dash, and only got it an inch out, but not enough to unhook the wire harness behind it. The wires dont seem to be long enough to pull out to unhook it. Do I have to go under the dash to unhook them?

If I get it unhooked, my next challenge is trying to find an "85 only" switch.
