I have a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro RS 5.0L Automatic, my cigarette lighter was kinda corroded and I put my car charger into it and it sparked. It in turn knocked out my cd player, cigarette lighter, dome lighter, the dash lights flicker sometimes when the headlights are on. I checked the fuses under the dash and they are all still intact. I looked at the schematics of my electrical in the Chilton and the radio isn't on the same path as the dome light and the cigarette lighter. The question I have, how do I go about fixing the problem, any advice given is appreciated, thanks.

 

It's the fuse marked "ctsy". On that circuit are the dome light, cigarette lighter, and radio memory power. And maybe a couple other things, I can't remember.

 

88gunmetalgta, thanks for the reply, I will take a look at that fuse to see if it is bad, if it is hopefully it will solve my problem.

 

88gunmetalgta, I found my picture in the book it showed my ctsy and on my fuse box it was actually acc the reason why i couldn't find ctsy at first, but thanks again, that helped, now everything works again.
