Hi, im trying to work out why my fan has decided to stay on all the time although i am now wondering if it has always been on since i took the aircon out and hadnt noticied, i had this on a jeep and wondered if it has hapened again ?
is there an aircon wire/conector/switch that tells the car to switch the fan on that i need to sort ?

I removed all my a/c and just disconnected all the wires and the fan doesn't stay on. The wires are all just fastened up so they don't hang down. How are your a/c controls set?

Your a/c circuit signal is normally closed when off. You probably clipped or disconnected a ground wire and doing that makes the a/c think the compressor is running so it turns on the fan.

Find the connector that was attached to the switch on the A/C line running down the passenger's side frame rail. Cut it off, splice the 2 wires together, cover with either heat shrink tubing or electrical tape, and put back into the harness. No more fan running all the time.
