starting issue

I have a 91 Camaro went to the store, got back home parked it. Next morning turned the key dash lights, radio works, motor would not turn over no noise not even a starter click. I checked battery -good, checked starter- good, I checked the switch on clutch -good. I also checked 1 and 3 fuse both -good. I was wondering about the chip in the key. If there was an issue with it or the ignition would that totally kill it? or would it turn over but not start? If you have any other ideas lets hear them!! is there an inline fuse some place? THANKS

Re: starting issue

If theres a chip in the key, look at the posts about " VATS" or " Vat Systems" This will bypass the security on your car.

VATS takes out both the starter ( no crank ) and the fuel injectors ( no fuel )

Re: starting issue

After standing on my head for a bit I found the 2 wire connector. When I checked it with my volt meter I get nothing, with the key just stuck in or all of the way to start. Does that point to a broken wire in colum? or have I failed to do some thing? Thanks T
