Wiring switch into fan relay
I want to wire a switch into my fan relay so I can manually turn the fan on yet still allow the switch in the block to automatically turn the fan on. From what I read in other posts I can hook the switch into the green wire on the fan relay to accomplish this.
1) What amp rating should the switch be?
2) do I need to run a fuse between the manual switch and the relay?
Thanks

Re: Wiring switch into fan relay
Splicing the manual switch into the wire ,grounds the relay to operate it the same way the ECM does.
Circuit is already fused with 3A fuse so 3A or better rated switch would work.
Is only the low current control side of relay
