Gauge cluster panel lights.

Im talking about the check engine, etc. I don't know what else is supposed to come on because I believe they are all blown.

Could these blown lights be causing a short in my car?

Thanks.

No, if the bulb is blown the circuit would not be complete. A short could cause the bulbs to blow, but the fuse should blow before the bulb in theory. Most cars when the key is turned most of the dash lights illuminate briefly to check that they function.

Blowing all at once would be unusual. Before replacing, I'd suggest some troubleshooting (a search might provide some ideas).

Ok, ill try to search quickly about it. I'm going through a difficult time, trying to get things done so I used this for a quick answer.
