replacing engine harness! a few questions before I start!
I have a 1989 305 tbi that had an engine fire at the distributor. I found a 1990 harness that isn't butchered. I want to replace the harness instead of repairing. Is this a drop in part? How do I go about pulling it out? Any quick responses will earn brownie points, so I can be wrist deep in the car before my fiance comes home and tried to drag me to the mall! !!!!!!!!! Thanks guys.

Not sure if a 90 is the same as a 89 you will have to cheack the pinout diagram at the C100 connector ( where it plugs into the firewall ). Its pretty easy to take out as you just have to unplug all sensors, injectors, unblot the grounds from the back of the heads or any other areas. To undo the C100 you have to take the plactic cover off and there is a small bolt in the center of it ( hard to see but its there ) Undo it and pull it off. Pretty easy. Headlight and engine harness can be seperated at the C100 in 2 seperate harnesses

Where would I find the pin out diagram? If they are different, can I change it, or will I have to gut the dash and ecm to match?
