I stopped try with my washers. With my headers the underhood temps kills my washer and also my hood struts.

Perhaps the fluid is emptying from the pump. I used to have to 'prime' my rear pump from time to time to get it to function (even though there was a check valve in place).

Was out of fluid so I went and replaced it last night, how do you prime it? Because its not making any noise at all so idk what's going on, it worked just a week or so ago

If it's not making any noise, it's probably dead. Is the power constant? If somehow intermittent, you may be getting fooled.

Re: Windshield washer pump help

Idk I trIed it this morning before I went to school and it didn't want to work . I'm hoping maybe it just came unseated from the housing or something. What kills them though becUse I wasn't using it at all, after I ran out I never touched the switch exudes turning my wipers on

It may be overheating because it's not drawing any fluid.

Re: Windshield washer pump help

I have a completely stock 305 TPI with factory exhaust and I pretty much have to replace my pump every year. Maybe it's the location being close to the exhaust that's a problem, but it's like feeding the cookie monster.
