i haven't used my wipers in awhile and today when i turned them on it went up about 3 inches then stopped. now they don't work. the fuse is fine and i have heard there is no relay for the wipers in these cars. if this helps at all my wipers never worked perfect before. they wouldn't tuck under the hood when you turned them off except when you turn the wipers on as high as they can go. when the wipers were on as high as they can go they would do about 2 -5 full windshield swipes then they will tuck under the hood and just basically twitch going up and only about a 1/4 inch. i don't know if that is related at all or if some one knows what the problem is from this. it's just supposed to be raining here the next few days and this is my only car.
I have a wiring diagram for it and i tried unplugging all the connections and making sure they were clean and plugged them back in.

 

It could be and if it was my car I would check the windshield wiper motor itself.

 

i took the motor off and tested it and it worked fine. i put everything back together and my wipers worked. still didn't tuck the wipers away after use but as long as they can go back and forth i'm fine with that

 

I thought that strange stuff like that only happened to me good luck on your other projects.
