how to test multifunction-turn signal switch
hello forum guys
i have a question about multifunction-turn signal switch.
i want to know how to test it.
here is my problem when i press my brake pedal my left turn signal is not flashing it just stays lit but when i let off the pedal my turn signal flashes
normally.
now right side: when brake pedal is pressed no brake light and no turn signal but up front turn signal is flashing.
hazard lights are flashing but if brake pedal is pressed they stay lit-no flash
when lights are turn on they work.
any input on this.

First make sure all bulbs are the correct type, and that you don’t have a stop lamp in place of a turn signal or vice-versa.
Make sure all 3 contact bulbs are not installed backwards.
Some wild symptoms have been reported when bulbs are the incorrect type or installed wrong.
If all bulbs are OK you’re going to need a simple low cost voltmeter.
Don’t use an elaborate meter, that type doesn’t put enuff load on the circuit.
Connect the red lead of the meter to the orange wire at the hazard flasher.
Connect the black lead of the meter to ground.
With the engine running at fast idle, what’s the voltage?
Now turn on the Hazards.
What’s the voltage?
Now with the Hazards still on, press the brake pedal.
What’s the voltage?
