Car: 87 iroc camaro
Engine: 360
Transmission: Turbo 350
87 camaro ignitionsystem problems

I have replaced every thing in the ignition system and still no spark the guy who had it be for me did a custom wiring job I drove it home no problem then one day I go out to start it nothing looked at the plugs cap rotor and disturbitor looked really warout so I replace them with msd spark plugs and got an accel distributor cap and rotor still no spark and did not get the coil yet but I know its good I put it in my 80 Corvette and started right up

Customs Violations

Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the primary of the coil when the key is in the RUN position.

Is there power?

If no, there is a bad or burned out connection between it and the ignition switch, or power to the switch.
