Has anyone ever put a Camaro light switch in a Firebird dash?

Engine: TBI 305
Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: 10-bolt, 3.42s, Torsen diff.
Has anyone ever put a Camaro light switch in a Firebird dash?
I hate the push-button light switch and separate dimmer switch in my '89 Formula. I like the old style pull-out switches with the integral dimmer switch that Camaros came with.
I have a '92 Camaro for parts, and all I would have to do is take the switch out and spice the wires onto my Bird.
The question I have is about making it fit. Has anyone done it before? Does anyone have any suggestions?
