wires that i cant find a conection to 89 trans am gta 5.7

ok thers a wire that comes out from where the 02 sensor cable cover is there is just one little wire with a connection but i dont know where it conects to and also theres another wire just hagging from where the starter is near there theres a sensor on the block and there another wire there witch i cant find connections to what happend was my head gaskets blow so they rebuilt my engine and ever since i got it back the car start fine the first time when its cold and runs strong but then when it worm up and i turn it off and try to start it up again it just cranks but wont start after 40 min when it cool off it will start up again plz help i love this car and i dont want to get rid of it

Color of wires in question would help.

No idea about the loose wires, but your warm start problem sounds a heck of a lot like Vapor Lock. After you turn off your engine, the heat actually rises more for 10-15 minutes. This heat can vaporize the fuel in the lines and lock the line until the temperature lowers enough to re-condense.

You can alleviate this by thermally wrapping any exposed fuel lines, replacing any missing/holey heat shields over the manifolds, etc.

For the wires, as the poster above me said, we need wire colors...
