rear hatch on my 92

So ive got a 92 rs and ive been having problems with the fuses. Have problems with the acc fuse and i snipped the wire for the cigarette lighter and taped them off. I then also pulled the light wiring for the rear view mirror as I was getting sick of blowing fuses in acc fuse. So the next couple days I get another problem now with the rear view hatch. Now that will not open because the LID fuse is blown and will keep blowing fuses as when i try to put a fuse in it, it sparks to blow it. So now I cant get in my hatch and cant open it.

HELP!!!

The fuses associated with the hatch are the ACC fuse and the LID fuse.

The
ACC fuse provides power to the release switch.

The
LID fuse provides power to the motor.

Disconnect the hatch motor.

Does the fuse still blow?

Happy Racing!
