Fuel Pump Relay Wiring
Fuel Pump Relay Wiring
Hi guys, i am in the middle of building a carburated 383 for my 89 Firebird Formula. I removed the ecm and the un needed wiring. then i realized i accidentally cut some of the wires for my fuel pump. What do i need to do to get the fuel pump to run without the computer. I read that the Green/white wire needs to be hooked to an ign power source, the black/white goes to ground, the tan/white goes to the other tan/white wire. But where does the orange wire go to?

Re: Fuel Pump Relay Wiring
i had to replace my fuel pump today so i made i trap drop above the tank. i have the fuel assembly out and everything and i replaced the fuel pump. so i connected it to the wiring harness just to make sure thier were no electrical problems, but there is an electrical problem cause the fuel pump doesnt make any noise, to make sure the fuel pump was connected right i connected the wiring from the fuel pump to a battery just sitting in my garage and the fuel pump works by doing that. could it have somthing to do with have a bad carbuerator?
