My right side of my 83 ta instrument lamps(dash lights) are dim. I was thinking of swapping the bulbs from a 194(just under 4 watts per bulb) to 168(4.9watts per bulb)... Would this melt the instrument panel? Has anyone done this?

 

im looking at doing mine i plan on putting in leds if you look on here a few people have done it

 

I would put leds. But its probably very expensive to replace all with leds. I dont know if they make like 10packs or something

 

I got a 10 pack of bright white LEDs for $12 or so a few years back (off eBay from the UK)... SuperBright LED's has them for cheap, and they're really bright. And available in other colors.
